On the other note, I've been really hooked on soap operas/TV series lately. I never knew they'd have some gay themed storylines. I think I found Luke and Noah storyline some months ago (their story was slightly featured on ET! Canada), but I immediately shut it when I learned it was from As the World Turns (soap operas = too much drama and drama is not = to me). Anyway, it's actually good, and besides you need to drool over Van Hansis AND Jake Silbermann. They're really good actors. xD

John Paul and Craig from Hollyoaks made me cry. A lot. Their storyline is much more intense and passionate that I spent the whole day watching it and spend my spare time re-watching it. I recommend this to all those people who really dig gay theme storylines.

Ollian and Christian in Forbidden Love is the closest gay-themed storyline EVAH. Seriously! I suggest you watch it right now before anything else. It involves drama, denials and humor. Seriously. It so refreshing to see a German soap to involve such wonderful characters. :D PLUS Joe and Thoe (?) are really great actors!

I do want to know if anyone here wants to recommend other soaps that they found out that has gay-theme storyline? I'd love to watch since I'm mostly bummed out (I quit my job). xD

This day is nerve-wracking. I thought I would do well with my English Seminar, but I did. WOOH! Glad that's out of the page. :) Now I need to finalize everything, and then finish my Monologue. Argh. This is so frustrating.

So much stuff to do. Anyone wants to help me out? I've been trying to look for an analysis for Frank O'Connor's Guest of the Nation. I'm finding no luck unless I pay enotes.com for my analysis. Maybe someone has an essay up over here in livejournal that I don't know? Hmm..I hope so.

To be honest with you guys, I'm not a Kuro/Fai fan. I dunno...maybe because Fai is a character that you can't really read completely. He has his issues, and unlike Kurogane, he's very hard to understand--well, for me at least. Fai's hard to fathom..I think that's the word. I don't really know what's going on with his head. But, I will try to re-read the entire TRC.

YooMin backstage in SBS LINE UP is luff. You can definitely see the "brotherly" interactions between the two...to think that they're quite indifferent when they were in the studio. Hmmm...I've been thinking of continuing the fic soon.

I feel so tired, but at the same time I feel really great. I don't know why, maybe because I enjoyed my entire day today. There's something about waking up really good (to think that I had only 4 hours of sleep) and praying the Rosary. I kind of feel light-hearted today. Yeah...

My every glorious fic Enough/Things I'll Never Say will be on hiatus for about a month or so. I guess it's because I have school, work and LOTS OF PRACTICING for the SM Town Auditions (I am in desperate need of time), and for my life to go on smoothly, I need to give up one thing,and that is writing my fic. Do not worry--I'll be continuing it as soon as I finish one of these things (most probably the SM Town thingy--which, by the way, is so impossible to fulfill/achieve). I have been writing the first part of the next chapter--so as not to loose the idea of the story. School + Work + Practice = no fun. Seriously guys. I don't have any time to go shopping anymore. *wahh!!!*

BUT it doesn't mean I won't update my journal. :) I will! I might post some of the pictures that I will take this coming week.

-> With boys being generic, I think it has been in my mind ever since they released Summer Dream. I miss their O.Sei.Han.Go costumes and Rising Sun--you can clearly see the individuality of each member. It's not that I'm against their "new look", it's just that--I'm tired of seeing them wearing the same clothes like the other--and the only difference is that one has a torn on his side-pocket and the other has not. Although they are boybands and boybands tend to have that kind of image, I've always viewed DBSK as a "new boyband"--whereas they have different personalities. That's why I became hooked when I saw Rising Sun--because I can clearly see who is who--who has this kind of personality and who has this kind of personality.

*sighs* I still love the boys though. No matter what they decide in their lives--I'm all hearts supporting them. :)
*prays* I do still hope they have a time for themselves. Like stopping for a while and reflecting about life--something meaningful that would refresh their spirit. Although I know how hard-working the boys are--and I know they're really work-a-holic, but sometimes you need to pause and rewind--right? :)

On the other note: IT'S BACK TO SCHOOL AGAIN!

It saddens my heart kasi people are so fussed about the "pandaraya" in Wowowee--pero sila sila ren andadaya. I bet in one point in our lives we used the "power of money" over our kapwa "mahihirap". Hwag nyong sabihin sa akin na di kayo nangamit ng pera para lang makalampas sa ticket ng traffic officer. Or even if you didn't, you saw someone using the money---but you didn't have any courage to stop it kasi "malalate na ako!". I'm not saying na hindi ren ako nandugas---but to be overly furious over that--I mean, oo nga, we should say something about it, but isn't it going way over the line when you try to hit Willie like that? Yes, they made a mistake--yes, it seems like they cheated, but they did admit that fact, and they were really trying to console---and what's up with Joey all of a sudden? Why is he acting so immature towards something  that he shouldn't even be bothered with. If he's so confident of himself, he'll know that someway or another, people will flock back to their show because it's authentic.

Nakakainis lang. Please, stop being hypocrites and look at yourselves. Di lang naman sila ang nagkamali ah.

Tayo tayo ren.

It's a bummer. School is coming, and I'm afraid that it'd take some of my time away from my computer. BOOHOO!!! x.x And to top that, I have work. It's saddening, but I think it's worth it. Besides, school is much more important that anything else.

I'm waiting for my "accessory" package that I recently brought from soompi. I think the downside of being in Canada is that you get to see few really good Asian accessories around. Most of the accessories in Pacific Mall aren't really good--so yeah.

Tiring, tiring day. I am at least 7 hours on work yesterday. You just don't know how many people here in Scarborough are screwed up. There are lots of instances that the costumers almost banged our heads on the wall---I know it was really our fault, but to bang our heads for a small cent or for being at least 1 minute late on the drive-thru? Yesterday's afternoon crew was all new (me included), and the costumers know that---but hell, do you have to piss us off too?

I'm mad at the people who demands their burger to be special---who asks for extra gravy--but can't wait. Like their wives can't be faster enough when doing her make-up--!

Nakakainis lang kasi di nila maintidihan na bago lang kami. We take time to make it right (although mababagal nga talaga mga tao dun). Oh well, that's life I guess.

On the brighter side, I AM NOW OFFICIAL A CENTENNIAL COLLEGE STUDENT! Oh my GEE!! I can now feel my dreams coming true!! GRABEH! I can't wait for September to arrive (actually, ok lang na mag spend ako ng at least 4 months pa--may trabaho naman ako eh~!). I actually thought that I will never pass--but lo and behold---a huge envelope is now residing on my computer table, being comfortable in its sleep (hahahah!). I can't wait for the orientation too! Don't you know that we have our own radio station and studio? And the computers! MY GOD! We've got at least 50 iMac computers!

   I.      SPRINGTIME

(cue Frank Sinatra singing)

 A. The breeze - As my grandma used to say, "Kung gaano kainit sa Pinas, ganun kalamig dito sa Canada". Really. The cold breeze isn't stopping up until, well--maybe June. It feels like we're in Bagiuo and/or Tagaytay.
B.   The trees - Did you know that there are actually cherry trees around our community? I never knew that they existed here. I've always thought that they only blossom at Japan. That's a good thing, tho. I've always wanted to stand under a cherry tree to see if it really is soothing (as supposed to what most fanfiction writers say).
C.    The birds - MAYA, you know, the bird of the Philippines? They actually have them here. And when I mean them, I mean A WHOLE BUNCH of them. It's like they're swarming all over the place. It's also interesting because you can hear the birds sing everywhere you go here, even when going to the shopping mall. Well, maybe because they actually have sea gulls there, or I think they are.
D.   The neighbors - now that sad, sad, winter is gone, people are buzzing out of their holes and into the rich, yellow sun. And what's great is that they greet you whenever you pass by them. It's a good feeling inside, you know.
E.   The WATERMELLON - At last, for so long I've waited to taste the sweet nectar of one of the most sweetest, scrumptious fruit there is! LONG LIVE WATERMELLON!

    II.   WORK

    If you didn't know, I'm now working at Burger King, at Overlea and Don Mills. I started out as a cashier, and now I'm working my way at the back making burgers. It's enjoyable, really. I thought I wouldn't enjoy it, but I actually did! And now I'm earning at least 100 CAD every 2 weeks. :)

    III. NBA

    A.   For those who say that the Toronto Raptors will never enter the playoffs, this one's for you. For those who say that Bargnani will never get his game again, this one's for you. For those who never believed in Sam Mitchell, this one's for you.

    B.   Miami? What's happening with you? One whole sweep? Isn't that a little bit embarrassing?

    C.   MOURNING, isn't you story very similar with what happened before when you were a RAPTOR? Like, when Vince Carter QUIT--you actually said that you're going to RETIRE? But instead, you prancied your ass to HEAT--and actually accepted their offer? Wow, MOURNING. Sometimes I feel like your the Boy Who Cried Wolf.

    D.    I just saw T.Parker yesterday (on TV, of course). I'm so into that man. Eva's so lucky.

It's a war--tomorrow. I just hope that the RAPTORs will make it through so that they could crush every bit of Jefferson's and Carter's dignity when they arrive at the Air Canada Center at game 7. There's going to be an earthquake in Game 7, I'm sure of that.
